- Contrast: Colour isn’t just based on what the actual hex code of the colour is. Context can also make us perceive the colour different (such as a dark colour can be the same hex code as a lighter colour in shadow)
- RGB: Amount of Red, Green and Blue
- HSL: Hue (degrees), Saturation (percentage), Lightness (percentage)
- Colour gamut represents the scope of human vision
- CIE: The Internation Commission of Illumination
- CIELAB is a colour scheme that approximates the human perception
- The ideal future of colour is hopefully moving towards CIELAB
